{"id":171,"date":"2006-05-22T00:02:21","date_gmt":"2006-05-22T07:02:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jillcook.com\/blog\/?p=171"},"modified":"2006-05-22T00:02:21","modified_gmt":"2006-05-22T07:02:21","slug":"degrees-granted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jillcook.com\/blog\/2006\/05\/22\/degrees-granted\/","title":{"rendered":"Degrees Granted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A quick check of the transcripts today revealed that A.J. and I did indeed receive our respective degrees (which we intend to pick up tomorrow from the school).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"109\" src=\"\/blog\/user_files\/Image\/2006\/2006-05-21 Jill Degree.jpg\" width=\"427\" alt=\"\"\/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"75\" src=\"\/blog\/user_files\/Image\/2006\/2006-05-21 AJ Degree.jpg\" width=\"432\" alt=\"\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Just to note&#8230; I think it&#8217;s quite funny that I am listed as &quot;Magna Cum Laude&quot; since we don&#8217;t have GPAs at the med school.&nbsp; Nor do we have class rankings, which would make it difficult (impossible, really) to actually determine who would qualify for such honors, since they are all based on how a student does in comparison to all other students in the same program &#8211; a comparison that the medical school administration has worked hard to eliminate. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>P.S.
