What’s going on?
Jill Cook will be receiving her MD with Distinction in Community Service from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Her Hooding Ceremony will occur on Thursday May 18th at 1:00pm at the Powell Symphony Hall in St. Louis, MO. A.J. Ostman will be receiving his JD with International Law Cetificate from the Saint Louis University School of Law. His Hooding Ceremony will occur on Thursday May 18th at 6:00pm at the Powell Symphony Hall in St. Louis, MO, with a reception following.
Celebrate in St. Louis!!
We are excited to welcome our friends and relatives who will be joining us in St. Louis to celebrate our graduations. Everyone will be staying at the Drury Plaza Inn located in downtown St. Louis just across from the Arch. We have planned a tentative itinerary for the weekend and it is included with the mailed announcements.
Celebrate in Seattle!!
We are also excited to celebrate with those who are unable to make the trip, and so have planned to have an Open House when we return to Seattle. This information about the Open House is included with the mailed announcements:
Directions to Fauntleroy Church are as follows:
Take I-5 North or South and take the West Seattle Bridge Exit (163A)
Continue on West Seattle Bridge for approximately 3 miles (until it ends at a light – this is 35th Ave SW)
Turn left onto 35th Ave SW
Continue on 35th Ave SW for approximately 3 miles
Turn right onto SW Barton St (there will be a convenience store on one corner and a Texaco on another)
Continue on SW Barton St as it winds down the hill. As you near the bottom of the hill look for the Fauntleroy Church (and parking lot) on your left. If you reach a stop sign / small shopping center / ferry dock you have gone too far.
* Please note that putting in the address for Fauntleroy Church into mapquest / google maps will give you a completely different set of directions that is much more difficult to navigate. I felt that even though my directions may take a few minutes longer, you are much less likely to get lost. Please call me if you have any questions or need more help with directions! 🙂
