We had our glass panel for our shower wall installed yesterday and it is beautiul! I’ve been showering without any blockade there for so long that now it feels a little weird to have it in place… but I’m almost used to it, and it’s so pretty and definitely worth it!

We started some seeds inside last week, and we’ve already got sprouts of peppers and chard! I’ll have to go see how our outside plants are doing now!

We finally got around to building (half of) the shelves in our garage! And put stuff on them!! So awesome!

It’s nice to live in a big house where this giant koala doesn’t seem at all out of place. He fits right in, and today he lounged in the tub by the fire. Ah, that’s the life!

We have a new Ninja Blender and it is quite the amazing kitchen tool. We put in these lovely fresh ingredients (tomato, garlic, cilantro, lime), hit the pulse blend for a couple seconds, and voilà! We had perfect fresh delicious salsa in seconds!! It was so good that we ate it all before I remembered to take a picture of the finished product!

Slowly but surely our house keeps getting more done… Today it was landscaping!

We made steaks and beans for dinner tonight, and this was my first experience cooking in our new kitchen (besides the microwave). A.J. has made a few other things for us, but this was MY first cooking experience!

That’s the final inspection, boys and girls… Our house is done (with inspections… there’s still the downstairs to trim out, and some cleaning to do, a few lights are still missing, etc, etc).
But that was a big step!!

Our range (pictured), additional oven, and microwave were delivered this week, on a day that was so cold A.J. found this plate of ice outside!

The built-in shelves in the closets are going in and they are amazing!!! My closet is going to be so so so SO great!
And the master bathtub is in the house and working it’s way into it’s destined spot. That is one thing I can’t wait for, it looks so relaxing!!!
