Watch out, A.J.!!

A.J. decided to take on some manual labor this morning, so he grabbed Lloyd’s rake and went to work on the side yard. He must have done alright since Lloyd was willing to give him a handshake after.

These kids know how to have a good time!

Hyacinth is our private chef here at Villa Kima, and she is very good. She’s also a great conversation partner ad has told us lots about Jamaican life.

Here is one view of our yard at our villa near Ocho Rios in Jamaica. It’s a beautiful big villa, 3 bedrooms, a huge patio with both covered and uncovered areas, there’s a hammock and shuffleboard in the yard…. And we have a cook (Hyacinth), a housekeeper (Delma), a gardener/poolkeeper (Lloyd), and a groundskeeper/security man (Lascelles). It’s amazing, and this is just our first day… More pictures soon!!

Here’s mom and dad wading in the surf at Seven Mile Beach in Negril… Tomorrow it’s on to our villa in Ocho Rios!

Lounging at the lobby bar while the afternoon rains cleared. Today we spent some time in the hot sun and cooled off in the pool. The ocean is right at our fingertips, and there’s a man-made island just off the shore with lots of lounge chairs that looks really cool. Tomorrow we might drive down to Negril.
