Cookie Decorating
For my birthday party I had people over yesterday to bake and decorate sugar and gingerbread cookies. It was a blast! My mom has most of the pictures on her camera, but here are a few hands at work!
My CAT
My CAT is not alive. It does not purr, or have fur, or make me sneeze. My CAT is a Critically Appraised Topic that I researched and will be presenting to my pediatrics team at Harborview in a few short minutes. The topic is Treatment of Pruritus in Pediatric Burn Patients: How to Stop the Itch. If I can figure out how to post it here, I will. Then you can all read about it!

It’s My Birthday!
I’m even on the family’s “December” birthday cake… And I’m the biggest name since it’s actually my birthday today!
Roasty Toasty!
A.J. and I have found ourselves now in South Dakota at Pleasant Valley Lodge to celebrate Christmas with the Pederson clan (A.J.’s mom’s side of the family).
We are sitting by the fire listening to calming holiday tunes. We just finished some hot cocolate and we’ve been working on a 1000 piece puzzle… We’ll see if the gang can finish it before the weekend is over.
A Gathering of Santas
Where else but in Portland would you see a city park filled with Santas? This picture doesn’t even do it justice… There were so many!
Voodoo Doughnut
We went to Voodoo Doughnuts (in Portland) and I got a voodoo doughnut to eat! Yummy!
